Disciples of the Lord
We are the Living Epistle Church of Shreveport, LA. Located in the heart of the Cedar Grove community. Our mission is to: Preach Jesus to our community and restore our neighborhood and it’s residents into productive citizens by assisting with restoration of Adjudicated Properties, providing substance abuse counseling, a learning Center for tutoring our youth as well as assisting with food.
Pastor Roy established the Living Epistle Church in the year 2000 and has been preaching 40 yrs. and Pastoring 37 yrs.

Ephesians 4:11 & 12 is a favorite scripture of his and it says And He gave some apostles and some prophets and evangelists and some pastors and teachers; 12 for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ.
How to be saved
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans10:9-10 – That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. John 3:3 niv “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” John 3:5 Unless one is born of the water & the spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
